Dreamland and CSF purification

Updated: Oct 28, 2020

“I need to go to sleep so that my csf can remove the metabolic by-products of my thoughts” Sheldon Cooper

Brain cells, like all cells of the body, require food and oxygen for functionality and metabolism. Brain cell metabolism produces waste. During the day, this waste collects in the brain’s cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Some of this waste dissolves in the fluid, but most of it simply collects, waiting for sleep.

Brain cells shrink during sleep. This increases the space between the cells by 60% which aids in the cleansing process. CSF then washes the waste toward the veins and carries it to the liver.

This process occurs during the deepest part of our sleep cycle. In other words sleep allows brain cells mitochondria to remove cellular waste.

Because the brain’s primary detox organ relies heavily on the mitochondria, optimising these cellular structures will be beneficial. Mitochondria are well-defined structures found within your cells.

Mitochondria are the primary source of biological energy in the cell, this energy is obtained from the fuel we put into our bodies.

We can easily improve mitochondrial function by optimizing nutrient intake, some of the Best Vegan food sources for CSF health and vitality:

Nuts and seeds, olive oil, sunflower oil, chlorophyll (leafy greens).

This is also why cellular detoxification programs are so important. Our brains control every single physiological function from heart rate, breathing, digestion to hormone production and tissue repair.

These core health recommendations IMPROVE the way cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) enters the brain’s glymphatic (purification) system:

Intermittent Fasting - Kicks the body vagus Nerve into parasympathetic (rest and repair) mode.

Yoga - Improves CSF Alignment and movement of the spine is the primary source of energy and stimulation the brain needs to function properly.

Standing up - instead of sitting moves more CSF

Pranayama - Or other tried and tested breathing exercises are great for CSF flow.

Massage - Reducing the crystallisation of useless energy.

Hydration - Drinking good quality water.

Exercise - Especially dancing, rebounding, jumping, running improves body health and purification along all lines.
